Solana $200 Prediction: Top Trader Projects Massive Price Surge

The popular cryptocurrency Solana (SOL) had been stubbornly holding onto the $125 support level for weeks, neither rising nor falling. It was as if the price was stuck in place, refusing to budge, but equally unwilling to give way – until it finally did.
But eventually, it gave way. The price finally dipped below that long-held range from late 2023, breaching a critical zone and signaling a possible significant downturn.
However, just as quickly, a dramatic bounce occurred. A complete reversal, marked by a positive green weekly close, has now pushed the price right back above that support level, almost as if the dip never even happened.
From a technical standpoint, it appears to be a “fakeout” for now. The price dipped, likely shaking out leveraged long positions, only to swiftly rebound. SOL ended the week with a solid 7.81% gain, leading many to suspect it was more of a bear trap than a genuine downward trend.
On the surface, things aren’t looking too negative, provided the broader economic climate doesn’t deteriorate. Of course, that last part is a significant ‘if’ in the current environment.
Even seasoned trader “DonAlt,” who isn’t exactly known for being a Solana fan, took notice. He highlighted that the price range had finally broken downwards but subsequently labeled the bounce a ‘false breakdown.’ Despite his reservations about the project itself, he conceded that, at the moment, things didn’t look too bad.
Taking a wider view, the larger picture remains unchanged. The $190-$200 resistance zone looms overhead, still a formidable barrier. This area marks the point where things previously unravelled. A return to those levels would require a significant shift, not just in Solana’s momentum, but across the entire cryptocurrency market.
So, the big question remains: is this bounce the beginning of a genuine recovery, or just another deceptive fakeout within a weary market? One thing is certain: Solana isn’t down for the count just yet. However, should this upward momentum falter, it could find itself back on shaky ground, and sooner than we think.
