Ripple CEO shares interesting crypto statistic

Ripple’s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, recently shared an interesting report from the National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA). He encouraged his followers to check out the intriguing findings from their study titled “2025 State of the Crypto Holders,” which he reposted a report. Garlinghouse pointed out some key data: 21% of Americans are crypto owners, and a significant 76% of them feel crypto has a positive impact on their lives. The CEO commented that organizations like the NCA are crucial, as they “spotlight the practical, everyday use cases possible through crypto.” The NCA’s data also reveals that nearly 70% of crypto holders are young and male, with millennials making up over half of the crypto user base in the US. Geographically, the Southern US shows the strongest crypto interest (39%), whereas the Midwest has the smallest percentage of crypto owners (17%).

Binance may delist several cryptocurrencies: Here’s what we know

Crypto analyst Wu Blockchain recently posted on X that Binance has broadened its monitoring tags to include several more cryptocurrencies, signaling potential “delisting risks,” as mentioned in this X post. Binance officially announced in a blog post that on April 3, 2025, they will be expanding the Monitoring Tag system to cover more tokens and removing the Seed Tag from certain others. The tokens newly added to the Monitoring Tag list are Ardor (ARDR), Biswap (BSW), Flamingo (FLM), LTO Network (LTO), NKN (NKN), PlayDapp (PDA), Perpetual Protocol (PERP), Viberate (VIB), Voxies (VOXEL), and Wing Finance (WING). Cryptocurrencies with the Monitoring Tag could face delisting if they don’t meet Binance’s listing standards. Importantly, other services related to these tokens on Binance will remain unaffected. Furthermore, Jupiter (JUP), Starknet (STRK), and Toncoin will be removed from the Seed Tag list.

SEC acknowledges Fidelity’s Solana ETF application

It was reported just yesterday that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially acknowledged Fidelity’s application for a Solana exchange-traded fund (ETF). While the news didn’t immediately boost SOL’s price, it’s currently trading up by 5.04% over the last day, reaching $118.71, according to CoinMarketCap. As U.Today previously reported, Fidelity, a major asset manager overseeing roughly $4.9 trillion, joined the Solana ETF competition in late March. Back in February, the SEC also acknowledged Solana ETF filings from other firms such as Grayscale, 21Shares, and Canary Capital. According to Polymarket bettors, there’s a strong 83% probability that a Solana ETF will get the green light this year.
